The Opportunity
A growing commercial construction firm is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive new project opportunities and expand market presence. This role is ideal for a relationship-focused professional who understands the commercial construction sales cycle and enjoys building strategic partnerships in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new commercial construction opportunities with owners, developers, and property managers
Build and manage a strong pipeline through consistent outreach and CRM tracking
Develop long-term relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and key decision-makers
Partner with estimating and operations teams to qualify leads and support proposals
Represent the company at networking events, industry functions, and association meetings
Contribute to go-to-market strategies and growth initiatives
Qualifications
5+ years of business development or sales experience within commercial construction or related industries
Proven track record of winning work and developing client relationships
Strong understanding of the construction sales cycle from lead generation through handoff
Self-motivated with strong communication and pipeline management skills
Local market knowledge preferred
