About the Opportunity

Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their growing team in beautiful Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned electrical professional who has progressed through the field into project management and enjoys overseeing commercial electrical projects from pre-construction through completion.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial electrical construction, understands the realities of field operations, is a hands-on leader, and has successfully managed projects of varying sizes while building strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and field teams.

💰 Compensation: $100,000 - $120,000 Base Salary (Commensurate with Experience) + Profit Sharing

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage commercial electrical construction projects from award through closeout.

  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and overall financial performance.

  • Coordinate with customers, general contractors, vendors, and field personnel.

  • Oversee project documentation, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project reporting.

  • Monitor labor productivity, material procurement, and project profitability.

  • Support field teams by resolving project issues and maintaining clear communication.

  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.

  • Maintain accurate project records and reporting using Microsoft Office and project management software.

Required Experience

  • Minimum 15 years of commercial electrical field experience.

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman on small to mid-sized commercial projects and/or Electrical Superintendent overseeing large commercial projects.

  • Minimum 7 years of Project Management experience managing commercial electrical projects from small renovations to large-scale construction.

  • Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, installation methods, scheduling, and project execution.

  • Professional references are required.

Preferred Skills

  • Strong proficiency with:

    • Microsoft Excel

    • Microsoft Word

    • Microsoft Outlook

  • Experience with Accubid estimating software is a plus but not required.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Strong financial and project management skills.
